Booking conditions

For a confirmed booking we expect a reservation-deposit of about 30% of the rental charges to our following accounts.

The Balance of should be paid in cash when boarding the Yacht or also by transfer a couple of days before departure.

Cancellation of a tour between:

• the booking date and 14 days of departure will result in the loss of 30% of the charter fees
• 14 days and 72 hours before departure will result in the loss of 50% of the charter fees
• 72 hours and departure will result in the loss of the full charter fees

We are not in the business of profiting from cancellations, the misfortunes of others and making money for nothing; and as such where full payment has been made and we can re-sell the booking prior to departure, we will refund payments made less 20% for administration and other costs.

Where travel has been booked with an agent, we cannot guarantee refund of the travel agent deposit component.

Postponement / transfer

Postponement / transfer of a charter will be allowed 14 days prior to departure and will be limited for rescheduling up to 12 months from the initial booking date. Postponements between 72 hours and 14 days will be considered based on the merit of the circumstances causing the postponement.

Please note that we refuse the right of boarding to any guest who arrives intoxicated by alcohol or under the influence of illegal substances. If this occurs, we will not refund any monies paid.

Liability

Guests should be aware that sailing can be a dangerous activity and while our crew will make every effort to ensure guest safety, we cannot be accountable for actions of guests that are beyond our control. Guests will be required to sign a travel agreement during the check-in process and answer a questionnaire. We have the applicable ship owners insurance to cover public liability for our guests and staff.

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend that guests take out their own travel insurance to cover valuable items (e.g. cameras) and to protect themselves against unforeseen last-minute cancellations or medical conditions that may occur during carriage and the associated costs of accessing medical care around the islands.

Reservation / Booking

The Reservation / Booking should be done in writing by eMail and will be confirmed after we received a deposit of about 30% of the total Booking-price on one of our stated accounts. The payment of the reservation-deposit is mandatory for a confirmed Reservation. Bookings without Reservation-Deposit are not accepted. 

Charter & Overnight Cruises

Overnight Cruises will only be done on Cruises to Sumbawa & Komodo with "experienced" Crew (guests) on request and maximum 1 Night-Cruise per week!
